Assessing coverage, performance, and demand both indoors and outdoors over a large area has been expensive, if not impossible, until now. Our platform rapidly assesses all networks and technologies, even inside individual buildings.
Today network operators have reliable outdoor and on-street service in most areas, and are increasingly focused on providing reliable service inside homes and buildings. To assess indoor service, we use our platform to generate Virtual Benchmark (VBM) reports for areas of interest to our clients. In each VBM report, we break down network performance and user behavior (app usage) per building and area, and prioritize the buildings and areas for the sales and network organizations to target.
The sales team is provided a scorecard with "low hanging fruit": buildings and areas with a large user base and where the client network has superior performance but lower market share. The network team gets a scorecard identifying buildings and areas to target for network improvement, incorporating absolute and relative performance of the client network compared to other networks, building population, and the amount of user demand on the client network and all networks.
Indoor & Outdoor Measurements Data
We have developed & partnered with others to offer extensive capabilities to assess vast quantities of individual buildings from both sales and network organization perspectives through crowdsourced measurements.
These measurements don't arrive from devices with an indoor vs outdoor indicator, so we created techniques to identify indoor vs. outdoor status for each raw measurement, and then use the indoor measurements to benchmark the service and user behavior on every network in every building.
Detailed views of performance and user behavior and demand are provided in each VBM report. Through our VBM approach, thousands or even millions of buildings can be assessed at much lower cost than traditional testing methods, and in locations impossible to access with legacy drive and walk test approaches
